He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elijah and Helen Schuyler; and his granddaughter Marlee Ireland. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Ireland, Lori Sickles, Shar Ireland, Jude Ireland, Ann Ireland, Vincent Elijah and Marla Elijah; and his uncle Dicky Bird. He is also survived by 15 brothers and sisters.
