He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Mildred Waddilove; his daughters, Virginia "Ginger" (late Garnet) and Gwen (Lyle); and his brother Lorne. He is survived by: his children, Glen (Judy), Jim (Elizabeth), Trudy (late Don), Catherine (late Mitch), Patrick, Grace and Kenneth (Sally); and his siblings, Marjorie, Freda, Dave and Ted. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
