She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Dick" Walter Carlyle; and her siblings, Ernest Howard, Charles Howard, Vera McConnell, Eileen Jolliffe, Evelyn Pridham and Dorothy Laing.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Tallman (John) and Jill Lucas (Jeff); her grandchildren, Chad (Pam), Kyle (Christina), Maxwell and Shaylyn; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Aliyah, Owen and Luke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
