Marion Ruth Lockwood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Ruth Lockwood (Mount Brydges, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Lockwood; and her brother-in-law Bob McChesney. She is survived by: her daughter Leanne Versteegen (Steve) of Mount Brydges; her grandson Zachary Versteegen; and her sisters, Hazel McChesney, Ruby Whetstone (Bob), Myrtle Payne (Charlie) and Bonnie Ideson (Gary). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home (22424 Adelaide Rd, Mount Brydges, ON N0L 1W0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Strathroy Municipal Cemetery (585 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G1N6).
