She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Smith; her daughter Penny Vermeulen (Benny Vermeulen); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ramsay, Edna Hall, Helen Telfer and Bill Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Rick (Kathie) and Valerie (Paul Milliken); her grandchildren, Roxanne (Ivan), Greg, Mike, Jeff (Courtney), Justin (Val) and Jody; her great grandchildren, Lake, Kailey, Gracie, Andrea, Owen, Kali, Sadie, Hudson, Trent, Jayden and Gage; her sister Norma Martin; her nieces and nephews, Dave Peat, Leslie and Barry Malpage; and her brother-in-law Don Smith (Lorene).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home (22424 Adelaide Rd, Mount Brydges, ON N0L 1W0).
