She was predeceased by: her husband Colin; her parents, Austen Anger and Muriel Anger; and her siblings, Estella Jackson, George Anger and Jack Anger.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Barth (Fred), Lynda Sykes (Wayne) and Bill Laur (Camille); her grandchildren, Deanna Barth, Derek Barth (Amanda), Veronica Sykes and Donna Sykes (Robert Thompson); her great grandchildren, Quinten Barth, Harrison Barth, Sheldon Sykes-Thompson and Aurora Sykes-Thompson; and her sibling Erie Buchwald.

Memorial donations in Verna's memory to the Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll or to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
