He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Beatson; his grandson Travis Sayyeau; and his brother Alex. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Nancy) of Morrisburg, Helen Sayyeau (Tim) of Iroquois Alice, Cathy Horan (Jeff) of Johnstown and Linda Beatson of Iroquois; and his brother James Beatson (Carly) of Cardinal. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Donations to the Winchester Hospital or the Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
