He was predeceased by: his daughter Kirsten; and his brother Richard Barkley. He is survived by: his wife Sue Barkley; his stepdaughter Laura Townsend (Phil) of Sherwood Park, Alberta.; his siblings, Ruby Van Allen (Carl) of Williamsburg, Sharon Easter (Trevor) of Iroquois, Robert Barkley (Anita) of Morrisburg and Stewart Barkley (late Janie) of Massena; his grandchildren, Ruby, Gwen, Ella, Beth and Matt; and his pet Emma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
