He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Thompson; his parents, Eric Thompson and Marjorie Thompson; and his brother Errol Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Lynda Turner (Darwin) of Nepean, David Thompson (Alanna) of Acton and Brenda Lavigne (John) of Bob's Lake; his sisters, Harriet Thompson of Toronto, Alma Morris (Art) of Perth and Elaine Hofman (Bruce) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Shaun, Kaitlyn, Sophie and Alexander; and his great grandchild Rylee Anne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
