He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thompson and Margaret Thompson; his siblings, Lucy Cauvier, Lorne and Larry Thompson; and his friend Terry Brant.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lillian Thompson of Cornwall, Margaret Thompson of Cornwall, Marie Thompson of Cornwall and Connie Thompson of Glen Becker; and his friends, Kevin, Jean Richmire of Morrisburg, Stephen and Rhonda Venema. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
