She was predeceased by: her son David Jan Vellinga; her husband John Haverty; her parents, Tom Nicol and Bertha Nicol (Giffin); and her brother Robert Nichol (Eugenia).
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Lee Vellinga and Sean Wade Haverty; and her grandchildren, Katie and Shane.
