He was predeceased by: his spouse Beryl Hunter; his son Jeffrey Hunter; his parents, William Hunter and Christena Hunter; and his siblings, Isobel Wooldridge (David), Rebecca McLeod (Norman), Rosemary Ellen Hunter and Ken Hunter (Eileen).
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Lavictoire (Richard), Janet Hunter (Jean-Luc Charron), Peter Hunter, Bill Hunter and Laura Hunter (Mike McCormick); and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Catherine, Benjamin Charron, Cameron and Ezra Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morewood Presbyterian Church (13723 County Rd 13, Morewood, ON K0A1R0). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
