He was predeceased by: his parents, Tjerk Veen and Antje Van Der Veen; and his sisters, Annie Vanier and Imkje Wallkamm (late Heinz). He is survived by: his spouse Baukje Van Der Veen; his children, Jeannie Casselman (Jack) of Williamsburg, Jack (Marjorie) of Williamsburg, Robert (Bev) of Williamsburg, Dianne Shane (Sheldon) of Crysler, John (Monica) of Moose Creek and Nancy Nelson of Iroquois; his siblings, Elske (late Andy Oost), Wytze (Anna), Ypie (late Eloi LeBlanc), Hiske (Robert Burghgraef), Hilly (late Ray Hebert), Klaske (late Rudy Lorenz), Jacob (Sharon), Nancy (Jack Lalonde), Baukje, Cristine (Tom Dickenson) and John (Maureen); and his brother-in-law Ray Vanier. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
