It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clare Downey of Moorefield, Ontario, who passed away on August 18, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clare Downey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Downey and Louise Downey; his parents-in-law, Myron and Thelma Martin; his siblings, Jack, Paul, Bob, Don and Eleanor Blair; his sister-in-law Kathy Ferguson; and his nephew Stacey Ferguson.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, Kimberly, Edward (Christine), Jeffrey (Lisa) and Carolyn (Blake); his grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Edward, Jordan, Kathryn and Ella; his siblings, Marjory Downey, Shirley Downey, Gerald (Donna Downey), Mary (Dennis Fedy), Margaret Ann (Bill Atkinson) and Mike Ferguson (Carol Martin); and his nieces and nephews, Tracey, Jim and Emily Vlasveld.

Due to COVID-19, mandatory physical distancing and use of facial masks will be enforced.
