He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Brown (Moodie) and Thomas Brown; his wife Bette Dickson; his son Rob; and his close friend Yvonne.

He is survived by: his children, Keith (Wendy) and Susan (Tony); his grandchildren, Andrew, Katie (Nick), Jen (Chase), Elizabeth and Kristen (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Rachel and Nickolas.
