He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Poapst and Freda Poapst (Ferguson); and his sister Lois Lemieux. He is survived by: his spouse Deborah Poapst (Jackson); his children, Susan Toll (William) of Mountain, John Poapst (Kelly) of Connecticut and Matthew Poapst (Natalia) of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Austyn, Isla, Lukas and Eva.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
