He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Martel and Sadie Martel (MacMillan); his stepmother Agnes Kennedy; and his brother Leonard Martel. He is survived by: his children, Murray (Joy), Stephen (Keri), Lori (Mark Day) and David Dupuis (Linda); his grandchildren, Josh Cotterill, Jessica Martel, Noah Ladouceur, Mackenzie Martel, Glenna Martel, Peter Martel, Erika Martel, Lucas Martel, Noelan Spink and Ana-Grace Spink; his brother Cameron Martel (Terri); and his pets, Rocky and Molly.
