He was predeceased by: his daughter Beth Young (Bruce Cupskey); his parents, Samuel Young and Sarah Elizabeth Young; his parents-in-law, Henry and Catharine Linke; his sister Joy Scott; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Scott and Ted Cambridge.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Patricia Young; his children, Robert Young (Brenda), Barbara Smith-Young (Greg Smith-Young) and Sharon Fryer (Ian); his grandchildren, Rachel, Taylor, Liam, Caleb, Cameron, Duncan, Quinn and Max; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Cambridge (AZ), Barb and Sedgewick Sinclair (NB). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
