He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Klaver and Elizabeth Klaver; his brothers, Herman Jr. and Fritz; his siblings-in-law, Leon Maloney and Dawn Bates Klaver; his niece Cindy Maloney; and his nephew Derek Maloney.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Klaver; his children, Curtis (Erica), Rebecca (Cole) and Sarah (Remco); and his siblings, Mary Maloney, Casey Klaver (Sophie), Simon Klaver, Liz Reid (Robert), Matt Klaver, Linda Klaver and Nick Klaver (Tracy). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
