He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Maloney and Clotilda Maloney; his son Joe; his great grandchild Jack; his siblings, Peter, Jim, Frank, John (Mary Margaret), Margaret O'Rourke (Pat), Theresa Mederak (Harold) and Mary Morrison (Leonard); his sister-in-law Cecilia Maloney; and his parents-in-law, Maurice and Mary Etue.

He is survived by: his wife Therese (Etue); his daughters, Susan Heffernan (Ray) and Mary Lou DeBrabandere (Bob); his grandchildren, Mark Heffernan (Jenn), Jolene Thomas (Keith), Stacey Eickmeyer (Dan), Katie Francis (Perry), Laura Swaim (Logan), Robin Scott (Andrew) and Josie Scott (Craig); his great grandchildren, Kyle, Karly, Bryson, Raya, Cade, Ella, Tyla, Eli and Willow; his siblings, Steve Maloney and Joan Hagarty (Jack); and his siblings-in-law, Louise Maloney, Susan Maloney and John Etue (Margaret). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
