With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laureen Smith (Mitchell, Ontario), who passed away on February 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Doug Smith; her parents, Louis Scholl and Elizabeth Scholl; and her siblings, Alfred, Lorne, Bill, Don and Rita Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Krieger (Dave), Val Fowler (Jack), Nora McGill (Bob) and Lois Hishon (Dan); her grandchildren, Rob Krieger (Joanne), Kelley Krieger (Steve), Jill Fowler, Jaclyn Dietz (Kory), Tricia Murray (Jason), Matt McGill (Brittany), Nick Hishon (Tiff) and Shawn Hishon; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Tegan, Tanner, Dawson, Cameron, Kale, Luke, Ryan, Nick and Charlotte; her brother Louis Scholl (Hattie); and her brother-in-law Harold McLaughlin. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
