He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Appleby and Helen Appleby; and his parents-in-law, Gerry Uniac (Ruby), Carl Pehlke, Patrick Uniac, Bob Uniac (Irene), Wayne Scott, Dorothy Uniac and Eleanor Pehlke.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Appleby; his children, Bill Appleby (Julie) and Erin Appleby (A. J. Moore); his grandchildren, Joe, Pat, Sami, Eric, Travis, Marissa and Emily; his siblings, Al Appleby (Kaye) and Muriel Scherbarth (Walter); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Pehlke, Leona Scott, Joe Uniac (Jeanette), Mike Uniac (Carolyn) and Vivian Uniac. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
