He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tallon and Molly Tallon; his brother Paul; and his mother-in-law Jenny Van Herk. He is survived by: his wife Joan Van Herk; his sons, Steve and Rob (Maggie); his stepchildren, Sandy (Mark), Katie (Ben), Jenn (Tristan) and Brian (Lyndsay); his grandchildren, Dominic, Anthony, Sofia, Daxton, Keatyn, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Liam, Hudson, Owen, Bennett and Ari; and his siblings, Pat (Carmel) and Frances (Frank). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
