He is survived by: his wife Donna (Adams) of Mitchell; his children, Dr Mary Ruth McDonald (Doug Schaefer), John "Ian" (Sandra Murphy), Heather (Blair Nonnecke) and Moraine; his grandchildren, Glen McDonald, Kerry Leah Leutenegger (Roman), Dylan Chessell (Hillary Alyesworth), Dustin Chessell, Alexander Schaefer and Cameron Schaefer; his great grandchild Denham Leutenegger; his sisters, Joyce Murdock and Marie Jones (Vic); and his siblings-in-law, Ethel, Watson and Victor.
