He was predeceased by: his spouse Helene Hinz; his parents, Paul Hinz and Martha Hinz; and his sister Waltraud Keller (Heinz). He is survived by: his children, Margot Cox (Roy), Lothar Hinz and Wilfred Hinz. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
