He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Soontiens and Johanna Soontiens; his stepmother Julia Soontiens; and his brother John Soontiens. He is survived by: his family, Michael and Laura; his siblings, Joe Soontiens, Frank Soontiens (Janet) and Marianne Mikel (Dennis); and also Susan Bradshaw. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
