He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Gordner; his parents, John Gordner and Melinda Gordner; his siblings, Walter Gordner and Marjorie Ische; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Bennewies, Orval Ische, Jim Tubb and Jean Henderson (George).
He is survived by: his children, Russell Gordner (Elaine), Rhonda Ehgoetz (Sidney) and Heather Monden (Ken); his grandchildren, Travis Gordner (Jerrika), Craig Gordner, Neil Gordner (Gabrielle), Adam Ehgoetz (Katie), Diane Chessell (Nick), Jake Monden and Wade Monden; his great grandchildren, Abilene, Branson, Conrad, Gwen, Nora, Parker, Evie, Emmett, Ryker and Laken; and his siblings, Laverne Gordner (Audrey), Doreen Bennewies and Earl Gordner (Anne). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
