He was predeceased by: his son Doug Paulen; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Paulen; his parents, Roy Paulen and Mary Paulen; his siblings, Marion Feltz (Mervin) and Allan Paulen; his brother-in-law Bill Boyce; and his great grandchild Landon.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Paulen (Eisler); his sons, Bruce Paulen (Judy), Mark Paulen (Trish) and Brad Paulen (Angela); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Evan), Jeff, Jamie, Cole (Emily), Courtney, Avree, Alicia, Carson, Emma and Abby; his great grandchildren, Lyla, Ivy, Ava, Nora and Tori; his sister Betty Boyce; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Paulen, Bruce Eisler (Donna) and Hugh Eisler (Rhonda). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
