She was predeceased by: her siblings, Riet Van Oorschot and Kees Maas; and her parents, Louisa Maas and Charles Maas. She is survived by: her husband Jack Jochems; her children, Lizet Scott (Bill), John Jochems (Cheryl), Angela Gras (Paul) and Charles Jochems (Ayisha); her grandchildren, Will (Alex), Greg (Lydia), Cameron, Julianne, Bill (Krystal), Mark, Brittany, Marisa, Anita (Tyler), Daniel (Janessa), Peter, Anna, Anneka, Kaiya, Thomas, Blaine, Jordan, Alanna, Felix, Loxley, Paxton and Finnegan; and her brother Jose Van Alphen.
