She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Litt and Frieda Litt; her significant other Carl Maedel; her son Alan Maedel; her siblings, Jean Wenger (Barry), Phil Armstrong, Alvin Litt (Lois), Loreen Beckett (Bill), Harold Litt (Hilda), Harold Sillers, Carol Ann Goller (Hank) and Sharen Marshall (Ernie); and her sisters-in-law, Marie Golightly and Illa Maedel.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Maedel (Fern), Liz Goodyer (Tom) and Colleen Priestap (Vince); her grandchildren, Darlene (Mark), Becky (Steve), Laura, Chris (Liz), Jeff (Angela), Lindsay (Andy), Jenn (Dean), Mike (Gerdina), Christine (Luke), Steph (Ryan), Kalynn and Jonny; and her sisters, Evelyn, Leone and Donna (Walter). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
