Theresa Sanae (Shimono) Kodama Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa Sanae (Shimono) Kodama (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Kodama; and her sisters, Clare Tsujimoto (late Mas), Tomie Shiozaki (late Kiyomi), Hedy Iwata (late Fred), Misao Kawabata (late Ross) and Agnes Kanda (Ken).
She is survived by: her children, Derek (Carolina) and Leanne (Grant); her granddaughters, Naomi and Alexandra; her siblings, Patricia (late Allan) and George Shimono (Jenny); her family, B. C. and Ted; and her grandson Alex. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel (4933 Dundas St W, Etobicoke, ON M9A1B6).
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
