She is survived by: her parents, Kathleen and Paul (Cathy); her son Ty; her husband Matthew Mitro; her sister Amanda (Rhonda); her nephew Colton; her niece Teegan; and her brother Adam (Michael).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Skinner and Middlebrook LTD Funeral Home (128 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, ON L5G1E4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Skinner & Middlebrook LTD Funeral Home Chapel (128 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, ON L5G1E4).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children, or charity of your choice.
