He was predeceased by: his parents, Stefan and Helena; and his brother Kazimierz. He is survived by: his spouse Ewa; his children, Robert (Susan "Susie"), Marek (Lisa), Adam (Andrea) and Annette (Patrick Eisfeld); and his siblings, Zbigniew (Joo-Hee), Gabriela (Roger Trottier) and Irene (Nick Ongaro).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Church (480 Rathburn Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9C3S9).
