Stefania Kopij Obituary
In loving memory of Stefania Kopij (Mississauga, Ontario), who departed this world on February 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Stefania leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Stefania's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Stefania has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael; and her son Ihor. She is survived by: her son Bohdan (Luba). She is also survived by her sisters in Ukraine and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
