He was predeceased by: his wife Lora Jean Zammit (Bonnici); his daughter Miriam; and his siblings, Jean, Carmen, Connie and Joe.

He is survived by: his daughters, Odette (Stephen Robinson) and Joan (Michael Shanahan); his son-in-law Eric Hamilton; his grandchildren, Jesse Tracy Robinson (Fiorella Robinson), Lindsay (Mike Knez), Katie (Parker Dixon), Breanna Shanahan (Kyle Daigle), Aislinn Shanahan and Liam Shanahan; his great grandchildren, Luke, Sam, Adam Robinson, Nathan, Brennan Knez, Nash and Jack Dixon; his sisters, Rita Swiatlowski and Tessie Jackson; and his sister-in-law Tessie Zammit. He is also survived by his wife, his daughters, his son-in laws, his grandchildren, their partners and his seven great-grandsons.

Due to Covid restrictions the visitation will be held privately.
