With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Griffin (Mississauga, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul Griffin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henry (late Claire), Joan Prillo (late Tony), Richard, Philip (Margaret) and W. Peter (late Joan).

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sprigings (Cathy); his children, Linda, Michael and Susan; his grandchildren, Rachel Lara and Jacob Paul; and his brother John (Ann). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (11 Peter St S, Mississauga, ON L5H2G1). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church (11 Peter St S, Mississauga, ON L5H2G1).

For me, Paul was a well-spring of knowledge and support in the art of advertising and marketing in my business then. Over many long lunches we hashed over ideas of interpreting BBM measurements and concocting marketing plans. I loved that man, his wit, his enthusiasm, and his unfettered candor. RIP Paul.
