With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Matija Godina (Mississauga, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Matija left this world on October 28, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Lydia Godina (John) and Rosemarie Childerhose (Rich); his siblings, Marija, Stefan, Agatha, Rozina, Ferdinand, Anastazija, Stanislav, Terezija and Anthony; and also Marija.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church (739 Browns Line, Toronto, ON M8W3V7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
