She was predeceased by: her husband Jozef. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew and Michael; and her siblings, Jernej (Mary Casar), Rudy (late Linda Oliver), Margaret (Lorne Markowitz) and Emily.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Mississauga Food Bank, or Trillium Health Partners Foundation in Maria's honour, continuing her spirit of giving and kindness.
