She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Baptista Jr.; her parents, João Melo and Clotilde De Melo; and her siblings, Rosa Da Costa, Dorotea Tavares, Connie Da Costa, José De Melo, Francisco De Melo and Gabriel De Melo.
She is survived by: her grandson Anthony; her sons, Martin (Madeline) and Michael (Penny); her grandchildren, Matthew (Veneza), Christopher (Angie), Rachel and Joshua; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Xavier, Theodore, Oleander and Adairmo; and her siblings, Clotilde Disidoro, João De Melo and Antonio De Melo. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends; her kindness.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (921 Flagship Dr, Mississauga, ON L4Y2J6). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1M4).
