She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Matches and Beatrice Matches; her husband Walter Allan Garvie; her children, Marilyn (Dave), Bruce (Michelle), Nancy and Robert (Pam); and her grandchildren, Matthew (Amber), Chris (Mark), Carrie (Erik), David (Lynsay), Jennifer (Cam), Scott (Melinda) and Paige. She was also cherished by her nephews, nieces, and many cousins.
The family requests that, where desired, donations be made to the Applewood United Church Memorial Fund, Sleeping Children Around the World, or a charity of your choice, in Lois' memory.
