It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jozefa Polejowski (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 62, on January 10, 2025. Though Jozefa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jozefa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brother Bogdan. She is survived by: her husband Bogdan; her children, Lidia (Davide) and Jaroslaw; her grandchildren, Anthony and Bianca; and her sisters, Zenobia and Krystyna.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Neweduk - Erin Mills Chapel (1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON L5K1R2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (3625 Cawthra Rd, Mississauga, ON L5A2Y4). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9).
