With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josip Pleš (Mississauga, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Josip leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jelena; his children, Millan (Lorraine), Whitney (Angelica) and Katey (Frank); his grandchildren, Luka (Shelby), Matthew, Aaron, Joseph and Katija; and his great grandchildren, Lordyn and Ganon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Croatian Martyrs (4605 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5M2B2). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
