He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Martinec; his children, Janice Simons (Mark), Michael (Jennifer), John, Gerald (Jerry) and Joseph (Joey); and his grandchildren, Shelby, Ty, Keegan, Alec and Courtney.
