John Salena Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Salena (Mississauga, Ontario), who passed away on October 31, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Salena to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathe; his children, Monica (Frank Fusca) and Bruno (Jane George); his grandchildren, Katherine, Kristen, Peter, Laura, Matt and Kira; his great grandchild Sienna; his parents, Dominikas and Antonina; and his siblings, Irena, Zenonas, Anyonas, Hendrikas, Vitas, Aldona and Stasa.

Seldom was he seen without a mischievous twinkle in his eye, a big smile, blowing kisses, or sneaking candy to the grandchildren (when he thought their parents weren't looking.) Due to pandemic restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, with internment to follow at the mausoleum of Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellwood, a local cancer support centre (http://www.wellwood.ca) would be gratefully appreciated.
