He is survived by: his grandchildren, Victoria, Emily Foster, John, Nina Bender, Catherine Bender Stanton and Sienna Bender Philips; his sisters-in-law, Helen Bender (Brown) of Listowel and Isobel Taylor (Drake) of Halifax; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Todd Bender, Jill Reading, Donna Allen, James, Darrell, Brenda Taylor, John Corner, Melody, Sherwyn, Darren Drake, Cynthia, Stacy and Lottie Drake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Dancing with Parkinson's would be appreciated by the family.
