She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leszek Zurek; her children, Leslie Silvestri (Carlo), Nancy Strach and Michelle Qirbi (Riyan); her brother Eugene Perzylo; her mother Aniela Perzylo; and her close friends, Dr. Zilbert, Dr. Wen, Dr. Garzon, Dr. Graham and Dr. Sharma.

Donations in her memory can be made to Trillium Health Partners Foundation in her name Jaroslawa Stanislawa Zurek towards the build of the new hospital or Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation in support of pancreatic cancer research.
