James Friars Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Friars (Mississauga, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine (Mother) and Ernest (Father); and his brothers, Brian, Terry, William and Ernest.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Patrick (Ida), Shelley and Allen; and his grandsons, Brandon, Nicholas and Preston. He is also survived by his 2 sisters, many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y5L5).
