He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, José Pacheco Ferreira and Maria (Santos Brum Ferreira); and his siblings, José, Celina, Maria-José, Antonio and Fatima.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cristo Rei Catholic Church (3495 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga, ON L5B3G5). An entombment was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1M4).
Professor Humberto was bestowed many accolades and awards recognizing his contribution to his students, dedication to teaching, and valorization of the Portuguese language and culture both in Portugal and Canada.
