Though Giovanni De may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa De Zen. He is survived by: his children, Rosemary Palmieri (Rocco) and Sandro De Zen; his grandchildren, Carmela Darling (Brock), Mark Palmieri (Julia), Lisa Palmieri and Andrew De Zen; and his brothers, Vittorio (Angelina) and Santino. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and all of his family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B1M8). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sts. Martha & Mary Catholic Church (1870 Burnhamthorpe Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4X2S5). An entombment will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
