He is survived by: his wife Maria; and his daughters, Ginette (Ron), Dania (Craig), Gillie (Troy) and Marrijill (Jeff).
In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made in memory of Gil, under the fund allocation "Head & Neck Site Group Fund" (his oncology team) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
